La celebración de los Premios Tony 2024 en Nueva York estuvo repleta de estrellas y victorias históricas. Todo un gran espectáculo que será recordado por el triunfo de dos pesos pesados de Hollywood: Angelina Jolie y Daniel Radcliffe.
Angelina Jolie, como productora de «The Outsiders» (Rebeldes), festejó a lo grande. La obra no solo se alzó como Mejor Musical, sino que arrasó con tres premios más de sus 12 nominaciones. En un momento emotivo, la actriz subió al escenario acompañada de su hija Vivienne de 15 años.
Daniel Radcliffe brilló en el revival de «Merrily We Roll Along», llevándose su primer premio Tony como Mejor Actor en un Musical.
La velada también reconoció la excelencia en otras categorías. «Stereophonic» se consagró como Mejor Obra, mientras que «Appropriate» triunfó como Mejor Revival de una Obra.
Sarah Paulson, Jeremy Strong, Jonathan Groff y la talentosa Dede Ayite se sumaron a la lista de debutantes dorados. Ayite, además, hizo historia al convertirse en la primera mujer afroamericana en ganar un Tony por Mejor Diseño de Vestuario en una Obra.
Premios Tony 2024
La ceremonia, conducida por Ariana DeBose, fue un derroche de talento. El público disfrutó de las actuaciones de los elencos de «Cabaret», «The Outsiders», «The Who’s Tommy» y muchas más.

Los Premios Tony, organizados por The Broadway League y American Theatre Wing, continúan siendo una tradición emblemática de la escena teatral neoyorquina.
