El premio a la excelencia en logros cinematográfico está muy cerca de comenzar, y la lista completa de los nominados a la 96.ª edición de los Premios Óscar este 2024 ha sido liberada por la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas.
La lista completa de nominados fue anunciada por los actores Zazie Beetz y Jack Quaid a las 9:30 a.m, hora de Venezuela, en un acto realizado por el teatro Samuel Goldwyn de Beverly Hills. El directo fue emitido a través de la página web de la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas estadounidense, así como su canal de YouTube.
Favoritos del 2023
Con la carrera final para la ceremonia de premiación aquí y un panorama cinematográfico brillante este 2023, no es de extrañar que muchas de las películas nominadas gocen de una gran aceptación por parte del público, partiendo desde el fenómeno ‘Barbenheimer’, que posicionó a tanto a ‘Barbie‘ (Greta Gerwig, 2023) como ‘Oppenheimer‘ (Christopher Nolan, 2023) como dos de los favoritos a ganar el Oscar a Mejor Película junto a Maestro (Bradley Cooper, Steven Spielberg, Fred Berner, Amy Durning yKristie Macosko Kriege; 2023).
Los tres filmes se encuentran entre los más nominados de la noche, encabezando esta lista ‘Oppenheimer’ con 13 designaciones, entre las que se incluyen: Mejor Dirección, Mejor Actor, Mejor Actor de Reparto, Mejor Actriz de Reparto, Mejor Guión Adaptado, Mejor Montaje, Mejor Fotografía y más. En el caso de Barbie, la película de Greta recibió 7 nominaciones, sumando a la de Mejor Película, Mejor Actor de Reparto, Mejor Diseño de Vestuario, Guión Adaptado y Mejor Canción Original por dos temas diferentes, ‘I’m Just Ken‘ y ‘What Was I Made For‘.
Mientras que Maestro, con 7 nominaciones, se encuentra entre los aspirantes a Mejor Actriz, Mejor Actor, Mejor Guión original, Mejor Maquillaje y Peluquería, Mejor Sonido y Mejor Fotografía.
En el apartado de la Mejor Animación, El Niño y la Garza, ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’, y la sorpresa del streaming ‘Nimona‘ se encuentran entre los nominados al Óscar 2024, uniéndose a ‘Elemental‘, de Disney, en la búsqueda de ser considera la mejor dentro de este género tan particular y único del cine.
Nominados al Óscar 2024
Este año, la participación de los votantes estuvo en su punto más alto de todos los tiempos, con miembros que enviaron boletas de un récord de 93 países, reseñó la Academia a través de un comunicado.
En este sentido, como es habitual, los nominados se eligen a través de una votación interna de cada una de las ramas en sus respectivas categorías, es decir, los actores nominan a los actores, los editores nominan a los editores; mientras que el mejor largometraje de animación, largometraje internacional y cortometraje de acción en vivo son elegidos por un comité especial.
La gala final de Los Óscar será conducida por el comediante Jimmy Kimmel el próximo 10 de marzo, siendo nuevamente el Dolby Theatre el escenario de esta prestigiosa premiación. Los Oscar 2024 serán transmitido en vivo por ABC en más de 200 territorios en todo el mundo.
