La 77ª edición de los Premios Emmy reconoció la excelencia televisiva y los logros individuales de la temporada 2024-2025. La ceremonia, transmitida en vivo desde el Peacock Theater de Los Ángeles, contó con la conducción del comediante Nate Bargatze y un desfile de estrellas desde Tina Fey a Jenna Ortega que iluminó la noche.

La gran triunfadora de la velada fue Adolescence (Adolescencia), que se llevó 6 premios, consolidándose como la serie más laureada de la noche. Le siguieron The Studio con 4 galardones y The Pitt, que sumó 3 Emmy. Estas series reflejan la diversidad y calidad de la televisión contemporánea, desde dramas intensos hasta comedias innovadoras.

El programa presentó más de 20 categorías, entregadas por grandes talentos de la industria como Elizabeth Banks, Angela Bassett, Kristen Bell, Stephen Colbert, Jennifer Coolidge, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sydney Sweeney y Jude Law.

Entre los presentadores también destacaron Jason Bateman, Kathy Bates, Sterling K. Brown, Bryan Cranston y Sarah Paulson. Además de Colman Domingo, Kathryn Hahn, Hiroyuki Sanada, Charlie Hunnam, Evan Peters, Anna Sawai, Hunter Schafer, Jesse Williams, Young Mazino, Jeff Probst y Bowen Yang.

Por otro lado, Ted Danson y Mary Steenburgen fueron homenajeados con el Bob Hope Humanitarian Award. Y durante la ceremonia se rindió homenaje a grandes hitos televisivos: los 50 años de Survivor, el 20º aniversario de Grey’s Anatomy, los 35 años de Law & Order y los 25 años de Gilmore Girls.
